Opening hours: From May to September 2025, Villa Kokkonen is open to the public for guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday. Tours start at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM (in Finnish), and at 2:00 PM (in English). Each visit lasts approximately one hour, with a 40-minute guided tour followed by time for independent exploration. Group tours are available at 3:30 PM by prior reservation. All visits are guided.
Entrance fee: €20 per person (valid Museum Card Museokortti and Kaikukortti are accepted).
Group Tour Fee: €200 per group.

Villa Kokkonen
Villa Kokkonen is one of the few private homes designed by Finland’s most famous architect, Alvar Aalto. The centre of the home is a large study which was designed around the grand piano which remains there today. The villa’s collection of artefacts and library include over 3000 books, audio records, art objects and original furniture.
