Järvenpää Theatre is known as a high-level amateur theater. The theatre’s productions are mainly produced professionally and 3-6 performances are produced annually. The main stages are the Culture and Congress Centre Järvenpää-talo’s Kellariteatteri (“cellar theatre”) and the summer theatre in Vanhankylänniemi.

Founded in 1998, Keski-Uusimaa Theatre KUT is an association-based professional theatre with 28 members. The membership includes professionals from different fields of theatre. The theatres are located in Kerava and Tuusula. Every year there are 4-6 performances on the premiere and there are about 130 shows in total during the year.
