Bohemian artist, who lived together with her husband Juhani Aho at Ahola from 1897. She was talented painter and suffragette, who startled her neighbours by cycling, smoking pipe and using trousers.

Venny Soldan-Brofeldt was especially known for her marine paintings and carried on her carreer combining it with family life.  You able to see her works in Järvenpää Art Museum.
