Midsummer at Lake Tuusula
Lake Tuusula provides the perfect location to experience Finnish Midsummer celebrations. Bonfires and Midsummer dances belong to the traditional Finnish Midsummer’s Eve (Friday, 21st of June 2024), and we here, at Lake Tuusula, have both! Several bonfires are lit all along the shoreline, and the bands play dance music at several locations. Please note that bonfires are only permitted when the weather conditions are suitable.

Why not stay the night at a hotel? Enjoy the celebrations until the early hours, and then enjoy a good night’s sleep and wake up to a delicious breakfast. Your midsummer mini-break couldn’t be easier!
The best ways to get here are either by driving or by taking a local train to Järvenpää or Kerava train stations and continuing your journey with HSL buses. Plan your route with HSL. Alternatively, you may wish to take your bicycle with you on the train and continue with your bike.
Hotel Gustavelund 2024
Archipelago buffet is available in Restaurant Into between 11.00 and 18.00.
Pritsi lakeside terrace is open from 11.00 to 23.00 and bands will play at 19.00, 20.00, 20.45, 22.15 and 23.45. BBQ festival food available from 18.00 onwards.
Bonfire on the shoreline at 22.00 if no wildfire warnings are given by authorities.
Sightseeing cruise boats M/S Aino and Venny are making short cruises every half an hour from 12.00 to 23.00. Tickets: adults 20€ per person, children 15€.
You can also rent sup boards, rowing boats and kayaks.

Sports Car Club of Helsinki will arrange sports car Midsummer drive. The drivers will gather to Gustavelund from 16.30 onwards, will leave for the drive at 17.30 and will return right after 20.00.

Krapi area 2024
Summer restaurant Mankeli is open on Friday 21.6. from 12.00 to 23.00 and on Saturday 22.6. from 14.00 to 20.00. Sunday 23.6. closed.
Live dance music available at Krapi Paja from 20.30 onwards. Tickets 25 € (pre-booked) and 28,50 € from the door.
