J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum is closed in spring<\/strong>
J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum will be closed for the spring season from 5 January to 1 May 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum holds Finland\u2019s most comprehensive collection of works by members of the Tuusula Lake artist community, Eero J\u00e4rnefelt (1863\u20131937) and Venny Soldan-Brofeldt (1863\u20131945). The 160th anniversary of both artists\u2019 births was celebrated in 2023, and J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum has highlighted the artists in its permanent collection exhibition.<\/p>\n

In the collection exhibition, the artists\u2019 works take visitors to Lake Tuusula, artists\u2019 homes, the seaside, Koli, and on journeys to St Petersburg and Paris. The public has participated in selecting the works by voting, and audience favourites are also included in the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The museum offers a wide range of guided programmes for visitors of all ages, including lectures, guided tours, workshops, and themed days. Visitors can join a public guided tour on Sundays at 1 pm.<\/p>\n

J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum is located in the immediate vicinity of J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 railway station and is open year-round. Art-themed souvenirs are available for purchase at the museum shop.<\/p>\n
