\n<\/a>Opening hours: <\/strong>From May to September 2025, Villa Kokkonen is open to the public for guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday. Tours start at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM (in Finnish), and at 2:00 PM (in English). Each visit lasts approximately one hour, with a 40-minute guided tour followed by time for independent exploration. Group tours are available at 3:30 PM by prior reservation. All visits are guided.

Alvar Aalto designed \u00a0a unique residence, Villa Kokkonen, for his good friend and composer Joonas Kokkonen. Villa Kokkonen is located in Vanhankyl\u00e4nniemi area in J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4, near Lake Tuusula.<\/span><\/div>\n

Villa Kokkonen is one of the few private homes designed by Finland\u2019s most famous architect, Alvar Aalto. The centre of the home is a large study which was designed around the grand piano which remains there today. The villa\u2019s collection of artefacts and library include over 3000 books, audio records, art objects and original furniture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
