Bonfires and Midsummer dances belong to the traditional Finnish Midsummer\u2019s Eve (Friday, 21st of June 2024), and we here, at Lake Tuusula, have both! Several bonfires are lit all along the shoreline, and the bands play dance music at several locations. Please note that bonfires are only permitted when the weather conditions are suitable.<\/p>\n

Why not stay the night at a hotel? Enjoy the celebrations until the early hours, and then enjoy a good night\u2019s sleep and wake up to a delicious breakfast. Your midsummer mini-break couldn’t be easier!<\/p>\n

The best ways to get here are either by driving or by taking a local train to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 or Kerava train stations and continuing your journey with HSL buses. Plan your route with HSL<\/a>. Bonfire on the shoreline at 22.00 if no wildfire warnings are given by authorities.<\/p>\n

Sightseeing cruise boats M\/S Aino and Venny are making short cruises every half an hour from 12.00 to 23.00. Tickets: adults 20\u20ac per person, children 15\u20ac.<\/p>\n

Sports Car Club of Helsinki will arrange sports car Midsummer drive. The drivers will gather to Gustavelund from 16.30 onwards, will leave for the drive at 17.30 and will return right after 20.00.<\/p>\n
