From Helsinki<\/h4>\n

By train<\/strong>
\nCommuter trains D and R run to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 every 30 minutes from Helsinki main railway station. The journey takes 30 minutes. From J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Station, you can walk, ride a bicycle, or take a local bus to Lake Tuusula (Tuusulanj\u00e4rvi) area. In the summer time, Visit Lake Tuusula bus<\/a> stops at railway station. The R train also stops in Ainola station, which is within a kilometre from Ainola and Ahola on foot.<\/p>\n

Local train tickets to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 and Ainola (from 6.40 euros \/ single) can be bought using ticket machines, ticket offices, R-Kioski or using mobile apps. More information from VR commuter train site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

By bus \/ coach<\/strong>
\nGet directions using HSL Journey Planner www.hsl.fi\/en.<\/a> The travel time is about one hour. Ask the driver to alert you at the correct stop: Gustavelund, Krapi, Onnela, Halosenniemi, Ainola, or Ahola.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong>
\nDrive along motorway E75, take ramp 10, and turn first toward J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 and then left onto road 145 (Poikkitie), leading toward Tuusula. This takes you to the area of Ainola and Lake Tuusula (Tuusulanj\u00e4rvi).<\/p>\n

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport<\/h4>\n

By public transport<\/strong>
\nTake the P train to the Tikkurila railway station, and continue by taking commuter train R\u00a0 toward Riihim\u00e4ki and get off in J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. There is a train about every half an hour from Tikkurila to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. The R train also stops at Ainola, which is within 1 km walk of the Museums Ainola and Ahola. The journey time from Airport to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 or Ainola (via Tikkurila) is 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong>
\nFrom the airport exit road, take the Tuusula ramp to Ilmakeh\u00e4 (138) towards east, then turn left onto the Junkersintie, drive till traffic circle and take the highway Tuusulanv\u00e4yl\u00e4 towards Tuusula. From Hyryl\u00e4\/Tuusula drive towards J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 along the J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4ntie until you see turning to left “Rantatie Museotie” .<\/p>\n

From Tampere \/ H\u00e4meenlinna \/ Riihim\u00e4ki<\/h4>\n

By train<\/strong>
\nTake an express train from Tampere or H\u00e4meenlinna (Pendolino, IC) towards Helsinki. Get off in Riihim\u00e4ki and take the R commuter train to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. The R train also stops at Ainola, from where it is about 1 km walk to the Museums Ainola and Ahola.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong>
\nDrive along the motorway E12 to the south, take the ramp 14 towards Tuusula\/J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. Follow the signs and continue to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 or Tuusula.<\/p>\n

From Lahti<\/h4>\n


\nBy train<\/strong>
\nTake the commuter train Z to Kerava. Get off and take the R train to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. Or from Lahti take the commuter train to Riihim\u00e4ki and change then for the R train to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4.<\/p>\n

By car<\/strong>
\nDrive along motorway E75 to the south, take the ramp 10 (J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 E) and turn to the right towards J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4. If you are heading to Tuusula then turn to the left onto the road 145 (Poikkitie). This takes you to the area of Ainola and the lake Tuusulanj\u00e4rvi.<\/p>\n
