Come and enjoy the art at J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum. The collection of the museum consists of works by Eero J\u00e4rnefelt and Venny Soldan-Brofeld, who were close neighbours and members of the early 1900\u2019s artists\u2019 community at Lake Tuusula. The collection features colourful landscapes, nature lyricism, depictions of everyday family life as well as highly accomplished portraits. In addition, the museum hosts rotating exhibitions.<\/p>\n

J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum is located close to J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Railway Station and it is open year round. Compacked, yet well stocked museum shop sells art related souveniers and gifts.<\/p>\n

Silence and the Forest \u2013 160 Years Since the Birth of Jean Sibelius<\/strong><\/p>\n

The forests, silence, and colors of light that resonate in Jean Sibelius\u2019s music are given visual form in the works of Taneli Eskola and Otso Vartiainen. This exhibition combines photographic art and the expression of light to create an immersive tribute to the composer\u2019s experiences in nature and the sensory world.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is also on display at Ainola, the home of Aino and Jean Sibelius.<\/p>\n

In May 2023 J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum opened a new permanent exhibition, which displays artworks by artists Eero J\u00e4rnefelt and Venny Soldan-Brofelt. J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 Art Museum has comprehensive art collections, which encompasses art by Lake Tuusula artists\u2019 community members Eero J\u00e4rnefelt (1863\u20131937) and Venny Soldan-Brofelt (1863\u20131945). In 2023 we are celebrating the 160th birthday of both artists.<\/p>\n

The exhibition takes visitors to Lake Tuusula, Venny\u2019s and Eero\u2019s artist homes, from seaside to all the way St. Petersburg and Paris. The public was invited to take part to selection process and their favourites are now on display in the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also pays attention to younger visitors. At the desk request for a basket, which contains activities for children. One can find delightful details in surprising places.
