Krapi

Krapi has 15 separate meeting rooms. All meeting rooms have a different character and there are suitable alternatives for any occasion, whether it is a brainstorming session, training, lecture or an important meeting.

All meeting rooms have a beamer (LCD-projector), whiteboard, flip chart with pens and wireless internet connection.

There are seven saunas altogether in Krapi that can be reserved for private use. Four of them are located on the shore of Lake Tuusula. We guarantee a warm visit to our saunas, whether you choose to go to Savusauna (‘smoke sauna’, the most traditional Finnish Sauna!), cosy Elvilä, wood-heated Janne or traditional Järvisauna (the lake sauna). All the lake-side saunas have bath towels in them. Drinks and other food orders we charge separately.

Krapi’s delicious story lives in the kitchen. It is made up of seasonal changes, pure Finnish ingredients, and of the history of the house. Delicious food is made with love of the available ingredients to suit every taste, no ingredient is wasted nor skimped on.

The courtyard has its own meat processing and cutting plant and a bakery. Everything on the plate is handmade and carefully made. The dining room has three table settings: breakfast, lunch and dinner – all in the Finnish tradition of Krapi’s food world.

Krapi's story

Krapi Estate is first mentioned in Tuusula maps as early as in the 17th Century.
Krapi is one of the 7 original family estates in Tuusula municipality. In the 19th century the master of the estate was Henrik Krapi. His son Karl August Michelsson Krapi relocated the outbuilding with its storehouses to its current location and had a new main building built. Read more about Krapi’s story here.
